Bike computer · Gym · Nutrition · AI coach

The only app that knows yesterday was leg day.

A bike computer with GPS and Bluetooth sensors, a gym log with 1,324 exercises, a barcode food scanner, and an AI coach that reads them together. On the phone you already own — and it's free in beta.

No credit card. Your workouts stay on your phone.

Instead of

Right now you need four tools. And they never talk.

A head unit on the bars, an app for the gym, a calorie counter, and someone to tell you what to do. Four bills, four archives, and not one of them knows what the other three recorded. That's why your cycling app is offering you intervals this morning: it has no idea what you did under the bar yesterday.

On the bars GPS bike computer €300–700
At the gym Training app ~€5 / month
At the table Calorie counter ~€10 / month
Who decides A coach €50–150 / month
Or Just Forgade €0 in beta

List prices, indicative, as of September 2026. The phone you'd run the app on is already in your pocket.

On the bars

The €600 computer is already in your pocket

GPS, elevation, gradient, heart rate, cadence and power from any standard Bluetooth sensor — not just the ones wearing the right badge. Plus live weather, wind and rain radar on the map: you find out about the downpour before you leave, not halfway up the climb.

Under the bar

The gym isn't a notepad

1,324 exercises with target and synergist muscles, supersets, a plate calculator and a rest timer. The muscle map tells you to your face what you've been skipping for thirty days. And the history you've built in Strong, Hevy or FitNotes imports from CSV in a minute.

Know what you're eating, not just how many calories

Point the camera at the barcode: a quality score, additives named one by one, micronutrients against RDA thresholds. If the product scores under 75 out of 100, the app finds you a better one in the same category and swaps it in with a tap.

And something that reads them all

This is how it knows yesterday was leg day

Load from the bike. Volume from the gym. HRV from the two-minute test. Calories from the diary. This morning's weather. Other apps see one each: the coach reads all five together, and always shows you which numbers it based the call on.

Coach Tuesday · 06:41 5 sources read

Gym · yesterday Squat 4 × 8 @ 105 kg

Readiness 71 / 100

Not intervals today. Your TSB says you could, but yesterday you loaded 4×8 of squats and your HRV dropped 8% overnight: same legs. Do 90′ in Z2, and leave before 10 — radar has rain from 11. Threshold on Thursday.

Workouts stored on our servers. It isn't a setting you can leave switched on by mistake: the table doesn't exist in the database.

Putting four apps together usually means handing your history to four companies. Not here: tracks, sensors, sessions, sleep, food and measurements stay on the phone. The server keeps your email, your credit balance and the metadata of AI requests — never the content.

An honest comparison

Row by row, no cheating

“Four things in one means four things done badly.” It's the right objection, and it's why this table exists. Every category below is excellent at its own column: the point isn't that they're weak, it's that you need four of them and none knows what the other three recorded.

The columns describe product categories, not one brand in particular. The two rows where Forgade loses are here on purpose: take them out and you'd have no reason to believe the others.

The phone is the source of truth

This isn't a marketing promise: it's the constraint written into the backend's architecture. The server has no table to put your workouts in.

On your phone

All of the sport

GPS tracks, sensor samples, gym sessions, wellness, nutrition, measurements and athlete profile. In a local database.

On this server

Your identity only

Email, credit balance and the metadata of each AI request: date, type, model, tokens, outcome. Never the content.

If you switch it on

The cloud replica

On the top plan you can sync a copy to read it from the web. Separate consent, export and deletion always available.

What we don't do, by choice

  • We don't upload the original FIT files or the phone's database.
  • We don't keep your conversations with the coach unless you turn that on.
  • You don't need a connection to record, analyse or train: the app works offline.
  • We don't sell or hand your training data to third parties.

The full detail is in the privacy policy.

You don't start over

It talks to what you already use

The history you have elsewhere comes in, and what you record here goes out in standard formats. No closed formats, no data held hostage.

What it costs

The beta is free to join

You sign up, you get 100 AI credits and the whole app. No credit card. Even once the plans open, the most complete one will cost less than the calorie counter you pay for today — and instead of four subscriptions you pay one. The two below aren't live yet: you won't be charged anything.

Questions

Before you sign up

Why not just keep the four apps I already use?

You can, and plenty of people do. The cost isn't only financial though: the four apps don't talk, so the work of joining the data stays yours. None of them knows you did legs yesterday when it offers you intervals this morning. Forgade exists to close exactly that gap — if the gap doesn't bother you, you don't need it.

You're small. If you shut down, do I lose everything?

No, and that's the point of the phone being the source of truth: your workouts are already on your device, we don't have to hand them back. On top of that you can leave whenever you like, in formats everything reads — GPX for tracks, .zwo and .fit for structured workouts — and sync out to Strava or Intervals.icu. If we vanished tomorrow you'd still have the whole history and the files to take it elsewhere.

Do I need a sensor to start?

No. The phone alone records your GPS track, speed, distance, elevation and time, and the gym and nutrition sides need nothing extra. Bluetooth sensors add heart rate, cadence and power: any strap or meter speaking the standard GATT profiles will do — Polar H10 and Magene are the ones we develop against.

Which devices does it run on?

iOS and Android. There's a web version too, meant for reading synced history: you can't record an activity from the browser, because GPS and Bluetooth sensors live on the phone.

Does it work with no signal, up a mountain?

Yes. Recording, analysis, gym and diary all work offline: the data is already on the device. You only need the network for the AI coach, for external integrations and for optional cloud sync.

What does the AI coach see of my data?

Only what the question you asked needs, and only inside that request: a summary of the activity or the period, assembled on the phone. It has no access to your database or to any archive of ours. The conversation transcript is kept only if you explicitly turn on coach history.

If I change my mind, can I delete everything?

You can close the account from the app or from this page, without writing to us. Your email, remaining credits and AI request metadata go; what's on the phone stays yours until you uninstall.

Why are some features marked “coming”?

Because the code exists but isn't usable yet, and we'd rather write that down than let you assume. Nothing marked that way goes into a paid plan until it genuinely works.

Tomorrow it'll know today was leg day.

Create the account, take the 100 AI credits and start recording. Riding, gym, food and coach: all of it in, all of it free while we're in beta. And your workouts stay where they've always been — on your phone.
